What we need is a ward/damage shield type of spell. Even in a group the wizard is most likely to die immediately. Wizards need to be very careful with DPS and taking damage from MT. If aggro is taken you are most likely dead. Keep this in mind if your tank is lower level than you-- in a bad situation sometimes tank is too late to taunt mob off of you or is unable to because their taunt is too low level.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Garamond size=4></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Garamond size=4>Freeze adept does not work on higher level mobs even at adept 1. I stopped using it at 32 due to so many resists. I will pull it back out and see if it works again. Usually I get "target too powerful message" and that is the worst. </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Garamond size=4></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Garamond size=4>Immoliation at 39 is great I have seen anywhere between 1100- 1300 dmg- but it takes so long to cast sometimes. I think if they made the roots hold a little longer and gave us a ward/damage shield and decreased some of the recast timers wizzards would be great to solo. </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Garamond size=4></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Garamond size=4>Actually, there is a spell called Concurrence- (I think it is the upgrade to Accord)- if they turned this into a damage shield it would be great. I have found that both of these spells do not do anything beneficial. I have both at adept 1 and they have never helped me. Personally, a 5% chance for power to increase upon being hit successfully is worthless. When you get a barrage of 800 or 1,025 you know that you are almost dead and there will be crushing blows immediately afterwards that will stifle you. At this time you can not cast evac spell and you can not cast manacels > dead. </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Garamond size=4></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Garamond size=4>BTW....I would not spend money on adept 3 until end game and that's around 45. Save your money for a horse-- it helps you run away from the mob if needed. Although you have immoliation your roots do not hold long enough for you to cast it. <DIV>I disagree with your damage shield assessment.  How many times do you expect to get hit?  We have roots!  Though I think they should be improved and they should nto break when we cast cannabalize or essence harvest we still have them.  If we were to get a damage shield, I think it would only be useful if it was a one hit wonder.  It should go off on the first thing that hits you for 1000 damage or something.  If you depend on it to do damage each time you are hit you will die before you get your mana out of it.  </DIV>

Personally I think your just some bandwagoneer. You don't really seem to understand the class. 39 levels of casting concordance on yourself? Freeze and Tongue twist don't work on ANY mob over 35. Thats why you get new stuns and stifles at higher levels. It's not a bug that Freeze doesn't work on mobs over 35, it's a design. Other wise we would end up with so many stuns and stifles it would trivialize some encounters because we could chain cast these spells, keeping the mob unable to use it's abilities.I've read your other posts here. You do realize we all know you go back and change your posts? Like the one where you got all p issy with people, then deleted your posts, and accused people of lying? Why should anyone listen to you when you do these kinds of things? And since that thread got locked, you can't go back and change that.It was nice that you went back and changed all the wizzards to wizards. Which you have shown with not knowing that concordance is more for other players that can take hits, and that freeze doesn't effect level 35 and up mobs. ive been reading these boards for quite a while and have noticed that both of you get into a lot of arguements . however stavenham's posts have always been detailed and constructive even if they do sometimes end up as bickering. on the other hand all the posts ive read from lady uaelrea have quickly descended into petty name calling.as you have a degree i would assume you a reasonably clever and would have realised that it must be something your doing wrong. i would really suggest taking a step back and reading through you posts, or maybe take the moral high ground and leave the arguement (without editing/deleting your previous posts).

Ha ha ha.You know what I meant. She was just jumping on the old, Wizards are broken, when she didn't even seem to understand how her own spells work. And when busted, acted like she did.Oh concordance doesn't do anything when I cast it on my self! I get this message, target to powerful when casting freeze on mobs over 34, this is wrong!There are issues with spells, but certianly, not these.
