This spell has been on the Inferno Timer since inception. The spell description, icon and name clearly delineate it as an upgrade to Scorching Pulse. To fix this problem they changed the icon and description but left a name that make one believe it's an upgrade to Scorching Pulse, and left it on the Inferno timer. So now I have A level 44.6 spell (Inferno) w/ these stats:232 Power5 sec cast timeInflicts 206-279 damage on target encounterDecrease INT of target by 53Fiery Pulse (L49) has these stats:232 Power5 sec cast timeInflicts 206-279 damage on targetDecreast INT of target by 53The share timers.Great fix SOE!In the meantime I still use Scorching Pulse (L36):Power 191Casting Time 3 secInflict 132-162 dmgThen 53-65Then 39-48 every 4 secondsAgain, very commendable fix! What is wrong with making Fiery Pulse an upgrade to Scorching Pulse and putting it on that timer, instead of leaving it an obvious duplication of my other T5 AE series and giving it a new icon to "fix" the problem....sigh...

<DIV>That's just utter sillyness. It does make me wonder what kind of checks are going into our spell lines if such a blatant mistake can be made.  C'mon SOE, you've been behind the 8ball on spells from the beginning, with obvious cut and paste jobs for the higher level spells, meaning they have never scaled properly across all the classes. I understand that it takes time to adjust and balance things but this just shows that that there is something not right in whatever quality control processes you have in place. The fact that it's an INTENTIONAL change is just appalling since it shows very poor understanding of what our spells do.  I do hope this gets looked into and fixed because it definitely doesn't inspire confidence.</DIV>

This bug is on the list of spells that need to be adjusted <a href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=23&message.id=8450&jump=true" target=_blank>here</a>.We just have to hope some devs find the thread.Fendaria

<DIV>My fellow wizzards, I can only say that SOE must hate our class. If you go through all of these forums the key word is disgruntled consumers.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Can anyone remind me why we aren't at WOW.  Sometimes I need reminding.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Why don't they have EQ1 team working on EQ2. This EQ2 team is really making things much worse according to all of these posts.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And no one responds from SOE.....how sad.</DIV>

If it's not fun, stop doing it and find something that is fun.Loss of subscribers is going to motivate SOE much more than [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot]ing on the boards.
