<DIV>Since they increased solo exp last time I have done extensive soloing. Pushing the envelope. As a 35 wizard I soloed a 36 sullen centurian group mob. Took me 3 tries but figured it out. While playing around with this I noticed something funny. My roots broke everytime I cast harvest. And if I cast any spell that gave me mana they had a chance of breaking.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This does not seem right. It is almost like a trap. Cast harvest stun yourself and mob automatically breaks and comes and beats on you.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>All of my spells are adept 3 thanks to the hours I spent Tradeskilling before the nerf. Now I am broke but I have my spells bought through level 42. So, I may have an edge over others trying to take on mobs out of our league. My challange is to take on pairs of group mobs my level. I could I think except for one thing. They break root.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have learned that if I just hit with stun then cast root they stick well, and stay stuck till time on root runs out. But if I throw in a dot this seems to increase the chance of them breaking before time runs out. If I dont mind being slow I stun, root, root, root, stun, root, root, root etc. till it is dead. One problem is I run out of mana this way so I have to cannibalize and harvest. Both tend to break root. It seems to me that this is a bug.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Maybe it is in there to specifically keep me from doing what I am doing which is kill big mobs. But I am maxed out wizard and even with much practice I prolly die enough it is not worth the risk. I am mostly doing it as a challange. The technique has come in handy on occasion when we get an add so I pull agro then root it away form combat for a while, but mostly it is just for entertainment to test what I can do. I have learned not to do it on casters they just stand there rooted and kill you with a few zaps. Plus if they are healers my damage can not keep up, I run out of man way too fast. But for taking out fighters or scouts it seems to be a good method.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I was experimenting with a few blue^^ mobs testing the system and it seems that indeed harvest auto breaks the root and cannalize spells have a chance to break it. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Any other thoughts of what breaks roots?</DIV>
