Tier 4 Adept 3 Advice

[Alchemy]

I came across a second opal today in my travels. I'm currently a level 39 wizard, and I'm wondering what spell to make Adept 3. I already have Ball of Flames done. I'd like it to be a spell I'll never give up using. Does Immolation get replaced later? Is it a good choice? How much does damage improve? Should I just sell the opal? Your thoughts are greatly appreciated, thank you!

get immo I dont have it at adept 3(app4 is mine) but of all the spells I would want to make adept 3 its immo. no it doesnt have an upgrade.

it's a rain, can be an AE (but limited to 4 mobs) if grouped mobs, or a DOT if only one.

Yeah, aside from Immolation and Ball of Flames, there's nothing else you really need to make adept3. Most are Tier5.

<DIV>In fact.. if I ever got/get an  opal I'll be upgrading to Immolation first and Boflames second... at 41 this spell is consistently doing 1000+ damage... after the initial damage I see my dot portion of this spell doing 400+ damage for the three ticks it is active... which is strange because the description says my damage cap is 360ish on the dot portion.. but each tick can do up to 420+.. and that is at app IV... at adept III this spell should killl.. when I solo it is my second spell after root (because of the long cast time).. and not only is it rarely resisted witouut debuffs but it does more damage per tick then the description says... by the time I launch into icy coil, piercing icicles, boflames... solo mobs are at less than 50% health by the time the spell has worn off... </DIV>
