<DIV>I've recently come across a ruthenium cluster that can be made into a T4 adept 3 spell. I'm nearly level 32 (31.91 IIRC) at this point and need some advice. I solo/duo (with my wife's warden) much more than I play in full groups. I currently have nearly 1.5pp in the bank and have no apparant immediate equipment needs, so selling it or making another class' upgrade to sell doesn't seem to be a great option. Which spell, at or near my level, would be my best upgrade and why?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks,</DIV>
<DIV>Save it for ball of flames @ 37!!</DIV>

I currently have the adept 1 version of BoF in my bank. Is ad3 that big of an increase over ad1 that I should hold it for 5 more levels and at the expense of another spell upgrade?</DIV>
<DIV>Well, I'm only level 30 so I don't really know, but from what I understand BoFl is used for the rest of the game so it seems like the logical choice. Adept1-3 was a big diff on Ball of Fire, can't speak with experience with adept3 Ball o' Flames, but I'm sure someone else will know.</DIV>
<DIV>Same here, BoF adept1 and not sure to scribe it or get ad3. What would be a second choice for ad3 tier4 after BoF?</DIV>

<BLOCKQUOTE> <P> </P> <P>I have adept3 BoFL and it's definitely not something I regret getting. But in saying that, our current big dmg nuke is Immolation, and it is much more mana efficent than BoFL is, slow cast and recast time aside. It is definitely the spell I am upgrading next. It's a tough call. During an average pull I only have time to get 1 Immolation off and 2-3 BoFl. But on a raid/^^^ mob, or one of those terribly underconned FBSS monks, Immolation really starts to shine. So it all depends on what your playstyle is. Either choice is a good option.</P></BLOCKQUOTE>

<DIV>So, the top two choices for T4 are Ball of Flames (37) and Immolation (39), with ordering under debate. Remember, though, that I'm only level 32 (technically, not even there yet, but close enough). I suspect that I'll either find or buy another ruthenium/opal before I get to 37/39. What is the next most usefull spell of the tier, preferrably level 34 and lower?</DIV>

I suppose I can either wait for those or scribe another class' spell with the woad ink I had made. Any final thoughts by anyone?</DIV><p>Message Edited by eqvach on <span class=date_text>03-02-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:15 AM</span>

<DIV>After BoFl and Immo, I'd have to go with either Intromission (33), to which you don't receive an upgrade for until 47, or Freezing Wind(34), which you don't get an upgrade to until 48.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Intromission maxes out power replentish ment to a ally (or yourself) at like 300, and doens't stun you. The recast timer isn't too bad on this one either.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Freezing Wind doen't do much up front, but it's a group dot that does NOT break Mez, and lasts for like 10 tics. I think the Adept 3 would do like 65-95 damage per tick, per mob.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Scorching Pulse is another decent spell at 36. My Adept 1 scorthing pulse does like 175-225 to all group members, and has a 5% chance to add an additional proc. Not sure what the Adept III version does, but my guess is a 15-20 point dmaage increase per mob.</DIV>

<blockquote><hr>Avernien wrote:<DIV> spending it on anything else is a waste of money.</DIV><hr></blockquote>of course, if you HAVE the money and can spend it, there is no problem. A friend of mine is rich enough to have the more expensive horse (4 or 7 PPs ? I dont even remember) and almost all his 35/40 spells at adept3. He's only 40...adventure, but also 40 in alchemy (if I remember correctly).
