<DIV>Imagine my surprise when I hit 19, went to North Freeport, and discovered I could be a warlock *or* wizard! I thought you couldn't make a choice, and if you were in Freeport, you were a Warlock. That's the way it works for every other sub class that I know of. I never got the chance to be a monk on my iksar bruiser at least!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>On a side note, that Freeport Wizard quest is crazy easy. Kill 1 mob in the commonlands, run back to NFP, get zapped to an instance - boom, you're a wizard.</DIV>

Its funny because its true. The other funny thing is that if you created a dark elf wizard (in qeynos) at the time of launch and then hit the ol respec recently it changed your base stats from what they were in the manual to what they now are in the online info. Whoops.Ah the manual. Taken with a world record breaking hailstone block of salt.

yeah it would make more sense if wizards went Qeynos and warlocks went Freeport, since when you think of a wizard you think good guy and warlock = evil. At least me <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> but its no big deal

<DIV>Yeah if people would read through that book that comes with the game even if its when on the toilet you would be amazed what you will find out still stuns me when people have no clue about wizards and warlocks in either city. I get asked all the time being a warlock in qeynos and by people 20+ at that from time to time.</DIV>
