Specter solo ?

I am 35 now. I went this morning to COB and could spawn specter of Ire.He's 27 double arrow.Killed me with his warlocks (level 27) without having any chance to kill.. conflagration, blight, steal breath, storm of lighting, bolt and so on. 5 casters on me ...A SK friend and a Cleric one could both solo him and his friends without trouble.Are they really much beter soloer than I am ? or is it just a wizard problem ?I don't see how I can do that without help.

I still love my wiz, but I can see how this can be annoying if you arent in a rather large guild with people always on...

I know wizzies are bad soloer, I already tested it.I generally do nto care at all, because I choose to be big group DPS and bad soloer.But, from time to time, I try and verify if I am very bad for a wizzard or just average <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Well, anyway in that case, I did not think that those 27 mobs could land so many spells on me. I thought I was gonna die, but that I could kill the specter before dying, then getting the quest upgrade.

and my guild mates are generally not online during day, because of work.
