<DIV>Before I get started. <EM>Yes I do upgrade my armor to raise my power, yes I do use good quality food and drink, and yes I do use the Painful Med and Essence Harvest line of spells.</EM></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>That out of the way, anyone else thinking this? Do you think we have the right amount or not enough. Please post why you think that and please don't bother staring this thread I just want to know what everyone else is saying.</DIV>

<DIV>yes and no. granted my gear isnt as good as it could be. its all atleast yellow or orange, but i have no lore items or anything yet. with that said, sometimes (use to be really often) id run across tanks and melee's with about the same or more power then me. at first i was like [Removed for Content], weve got about the same gear, same lvl, and iv still got lower power. and im the one who uses the most of it. then i started thinking. we dont need to have gigantic power pools becuase we have power regen spells. granted its not much per use, but it helps. but to answer the question, id say yes. a little more power, but not to much since we can already regen quite a bit. </DIV>

<DIV>Dancing the out of power line is part of the challenge to me. Most encounters so far (I'm level 30) seem balanced out enough that I'm never usually out...if adds show up or things get hairy, then using every trick in the book becomes a hoot.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If we had more power across the board, some of the challenge of playing the game would be taken away...IMHO.</DIV>

If I were with lot of mana AND that DPS, I would be bored soon. P.S. May be you never knew, or don't remember, the times in EQ1 when magicians had a cani rod that gave them (or anyone else) mana / health. Then magician role was to summon tons of rods carpet, endlessly ! I never saw something more usefull for a raid and more boring for the player.

<DIV>Conjurors in EQ2 can summon mod rods as well, although they apparently aren't as game breaking. (my buddy Jim has one)</DIV>

Hmmm hard to say. Currently, at level 34, my power, with my own buffs is 1648. My int is only 118. There has never been a time where I so ran out of power, that I stood there blinking hoping they kill the mob. Others go OOP before I do, and there have been times I've Power transfered the healer to get a few extra heals out of them.I'de like to see how the int to power stacks up. I know the ratio goes up as you level. Personally, I'm dissapointed in how int just gives us power. Str gives fighters power and damage bonus. Agi gives scouts better accuracy and better avoidance, and determins thier power pool. It's far easier to get your str and agi up with gear and buffs. Most of the fighters and scouts the same level as me have thier str and agi at 150+ with buffs, where benefits start coming in. I'm a human, so no starting int bonus. I've taken every increase int and power training I could. My gear includes Glowing Black Stone +8, Bulwark of Piety, +9, Gathered Shard of Evocation +6. Architect's Cap +7, Cloth cuffs, +7 Zombie Flesh Pantaloons, +6. I'm not hurting for items with good int. I even have the deathfist prod, which is +11 int +30 power, which I'm thinking of attuning once I can use it. It's two handed, and has great stats, but currently, my two blue items give me more power over all.I need to figure out when the bonus from INT gives more power. Perhaps we can start posting how much power we are getting from INT at the different levels. I saw someone say +7 at level 45 or around there. Then we can consolodate our findings into one chart/post.
<DIV>I only wish Int past 200 gave more power. Once you hit an Int of 200 anything more gives you about 2 power per 1 int. where its more like 16 power per 1 int pre 200 and if you get past 300 int it goes back to about 16 power per 1 int. They really nerfed the 200 range last patch or bugged it not really sure. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As it stands now I self buffed I have 3k power at lvl 50. While grouping I don't bother drinking anymore because I never run out of power before the tank or healers need to break. Between chanter line of power regens, and our power regen spells I normally end up giving power to tank or healer trying to get them backup so we can fight more. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>During raids I could easily run out of power but I'd be dead from aggro before I did.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I'm also a little disappointed that Int doesn't also affect spell damage along with Disruption.
