<DIV>Is it just me, or does anyone feel like we get resisted alot more now? </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Would this be becuase of the removal of fizzing so much?</DIV>
<DIV>Oh man, I was in RoV last night fighting clay guardians and they were resisting 50% of my spells. I'm lvl 28 and they were 29-32. </DIV>

A mob 4 levels higher than you should resist a lot of your spells. Of course, same should be true of melee ... not sure if it is or not.</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>I was just doing a writ.. Im lvl 50 and killing a lvl 37 grey void observer ^^. It resisted 2 ice comets and a ball of fire. These things can just about hit me, seems strange it resisted so much.. Ive noticed this on other grey mobs also.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The only time I really encounted resist was orange or red mobs. Even then most orange mobs didnt seem that bad. Red was always worthless casting on.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I would expect the resists on the 32s. But the reason this struck me as odd is because as a level 26 I was fighting lvl 35 clay guardians and I would get resisted about 10% of the time, I thought it was hilarious because we had a lvl 26 monk in the group who would land 1 hit every 2 encounters with the 35s. (this was prepatch.)</DIV>

<DIV>Just killed 3 more grey lvl 37 ^^ void observers, and it seems im getting 3-5 spells resisted per mob.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>O well guess it makes up for not fizzing so much..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>yeah but atleast with fizzles, we didnt go through all the time of casting and using the spell, only to have wasted mana and be stuck waiting for it to recharge becuase of a resist.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>with that said, i wasnt getting resisted to bad. more then before, but not to bad. </DIV> <DIV>fighting the yellow runeye goblins near the river i landed most my spells except he resisted freeze once. but in runeye anything red (7 lvls + ) resisted. the lvl 40 named resisted every single spell i launched. but thats to be expected. im only 32 lol. so no complaints here really</DIV>

<DIV>well in that case i say bring back the fizzles and drop the resists. Fizzles take very little power compard to a spell. And recast time is worse than having to try to cast a fizzled spell. </DIV>
<DIV>Do a search... lets consolidate threads... so SOE see's it... not 20 different little ones.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Yes resists are as high as 90% on red mobs...! it's being discussed..!!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>last night, as a level 28 I was duoing with a 28 bruiser in EL. I was fighting lvl 35 goblins, I got resisted 90% of time, the bruiser had to kill the mob by himself, which he did and it didn't look like he missed to many times. I don't think it's a super big deal, I don't think my spells should affect a mob 7 levels higher than me, but I also think fighters should have a 10% chance of landing hits too.</DIV>

<DIV>All this DPS upgrade seems to be BS when playing in foul group.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Im running a parsing program often enough to know hows DPS is in different situation.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If we r killing green, blue and white mobs im the highest dps, no question about that but as soon were pulling orange and red mobs im getting all the way down the list right above the healer often because of all the resist. All scout/melee class dont seem to be affected as much by higher mobs.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Why groups would want mage's since most of the time the grp will aim for higher then even mobs and scout/melee class can outdamage us really easy.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>PLS FIX THE RESIST</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>The resists are horrible. At level 50, I get resisted at least half the time. It was bad before the patch, but it certainly has gotten worse since. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Same with my root spells. Roots didn't root anything including gray mobs, but maybe one out of three attempts. It has worsened since the patch. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#3399cc>I have started a new thread consolidating all the Warlocks, Wizards, Enchanters, Necros...etc about the ninja patch on <STRONG>resists</STRONG> that SOE slipped into the Feb 17th patch.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#3399cc></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#3399cc>Please go here and respond so that SOE can see we arn't fooled.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#3399cc></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><A href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=spellart&message.id=30085" target=_blank>http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=spellart&message.id=30085</A></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#3399cc>thnx..!!</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#3399cc></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#3399cc></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#3399cc></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#3399cc></FONT> </DIV></DIV>
