<DIV>Im getting close to lvl 30 and I was wondering what is the best gear to have for the most power/INT at 30.  I dont care to much about AC and such cause lets face it, im still gonna drop like a fly against most mobs anyways.  Here is my current gear.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> <P><A href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer.vm?characterId=278366205" target=_blank><FONT color=#c8c1b5>http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer.vm?characterId=278366205</FONT></A></P></DIV>

<DIV>Not hard to get 127 (which it currently reads) at level 27. Mine is currently 122 at level 24 with int gear out the butt. I've seen level 50 players with 180 int. There are some  high end bracelts and rings that give a large amount int. Spectral dragoon bands are obtainable off rare drops in fallen gate and each give 6 int.</DIV>

<DIV>Indeed, its not too hard to get high INT on wizard. Even with all quested or looted gear (and buffs) im running 144 INT on my 35 wiz. I used to keep all items with even the tinyest INT bonus - untill i found out INT has no other use than giving marginally bigger power pool. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now i just keep most of the +INT crap in bank waiting for the day when INT is changed to also effect damage ...  :smileywink:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>yeah i read that too that int only increases your power pool...i've always tried to get items with high health and power</DIV>

<DIV>Spectal dragon bands huh, sounds like a good addition.  Ill have to go digging for those.  I havent found many rings that give good Int.  Yeah it s shame that INT does squat for damage lke it did in eq or like it does for STR but extra power does let me cast more spells.</DIV>

I check the brokers almost constantly, and consider myself farly well geared. Little upgrade here, little one there...it adds up over time. Done really have the time to list everything out (my boss probably would like to see me in on time today hehehe) but heres my profile, you can take a look for yourselfhttp://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer.vm?characterId=113747105

All it did was add to our mana pool then as well. As you level INT makes more and more of a difference in power. I'm not sure but I believe that the level of your gear compared to your level also makes somewhat of a difference.

<DIV>I wasnt talking about EQlive though.  I was talking about EQ.  The original game.  Stats would directly effect your damage output.</DIV>

Exactly. In the origional everquest the only stat that affected damage was strength and then it was only for melee damage...and that was so minor that I remember alot of arguements over it.

If I wouldn't have to sit online al igt to be a vendor my buffs wouldn't have worn off and my int would be 30 points higherhttp://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer.vm?characterId=207541205

In the guides, it says int increases our damage. But no one seems to think that. And in game, it says int increases our power. In the recent announcement about changes on test, they said the bonus to damage from strength for fighters was being adjusted down. The break down was like this:STR   Old Bonus  New Bonus 100     125%         125%200    150%         135%300    175%         145%400    200%         155%So I'm wondering if INT works along these lines, and at what level of INT does a damage bonus kick in? And is it possible for mage characters to get a 400int (The str of 400 is possible with buffs and gear)Also, keep in mind, not all races start with the same int. Erudite have 30 to start with and if you take the INT increase training when it comes up, you will always have higher int then other races.

I've gotten up to 292 INT before, noticed no difference in damage. Just mana pool, that's all.
