On the 5th (last week) Moorgard said the changes should hit test sometime this week. So keep looking, didn't see anything this morning. Will look in the afternoon.

<DIV>He said they are coming "next week" and that was on Feb 5(Saturday). So dependign on how you view that either this week or mabye next week.</DIV>

<DIV>The quote specifcally sounded like yesterday (since he said Tuesday of next week and that would have been, well, yesterday)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>That being said, he's in a no-win situation. Now that the changes haven't appeared, the folk who are never happy will start complaining. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> But since they are determined to never be happy anyway, it's probably healthier to give Moorgard some credit for thinking the changes would be ready by Tuesday, but in a test code environment, you're allowed to slip.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As long as they are good changes and live within the next month, they'll be in place before I need them. (as I'm doing fine at my current level)</DIV>

<DIV>I just can't help to cringe when they say "BIG" though. look at tradeskills and zerkers from what it used to be.</DIV>

This is what Moorgard said on the 5th: Nope. Wizards and warlocks are going to see big (and I mean BIG) changes in the next major update, going out to Test next week.It goes to test first. So we won't see the Big changes this week. As they are being tested. After test, it comes out in the next major update. We get updates most days. But major updates are like the last one. There are planned one major update each month. We had one on the first of this month. So I don't expect to see anything really big to go live till end of Feb, begining of March. And I don't want an exact date, cause most likely there will be issues and the date missed.

<DIV>if they go to test late this week i think we'll be seeing them on live late next week. its how they handled it last time i believe. like a week on test before shoving it to live.</DIV>

That would be nice, as I'm inching towards the problem levels. But do you really think they will have two major patches only two weeks apart?

<DIV>why not? if it goes to test and they can get the major bugs worked out, there is no reason not to move fast on it. unfortunatly we all know that once a patch goes live we're dealing with unexpected bugs in game. i don't think thats something they are going to overcome for a very long time. but they have hinted at big patches once to twice a month and so soon after going live i wouldn't doubt the two patches this month or being a few weeks off <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

Only thing we can do is wait till it happens. Complaing about it not coming soon enough isn't going to do any good

i hope they didn't go overboard, otherwise nobody will look for anyone besides wizards, tanks, and healers.

I like the 275% increase on Ice Comet but the 40 recast time I dunno.... seems like they are just balancing it back, just to make it look like we are doing more dps.... I dunno what do you guys think?

<DIV>Well look at it this way, its burst damage.....your dps will be MUCH greater in a single ^^ fight with the spell like this. Only a few seconds to cast for (approx) 3000 dmg. rather than 3 casts of a few seconds each, with 18 second recast inbetween. <BR><BR>Burst dps, thats what ICE COMET is about, as it should be.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Vladek</DIV> <DIV>42 Wizard</DIV> <DIV>Sinister Circle</DIV> <DIV>Najena</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>*corrected spelling*</DIV><p>Message Edited by Trithon on <span class=date_text>02-09-2005</span> <span class=time_text>07:55 PM</span>
