How to use a Rough Jasper?

imo, Ball of Fire then BoTT.If not that then BoF then Icy Coil.Depends on your spell order and style.BoF/BoTT will do more upfront dmgBoF/Icy Coil can do about the same with the better elemental buffs and if you keep icy coil on the mob throughout the fight.However, the icy coil will benefit any other elemental dmg dealers on the mob, so it has the potential of increasing the group's dmg for certain group compositions.Icy coil replaced @ lvl 40BoTT replaced @ lvl 39 one last thing, it'll be cheaper to upgrade the 39 spell vs the lvl 40 spell.Therefore, I plan on using my Icy coil adept 3 for some lvls into 40 to come.I hope that helps <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.

If you have the money and you're already 35ish then u might want to wait. The big thing i suppose is the money factor, tier3 rare - 20-25gold, tier4 rare- 1.3-1.7pp (permafrost), tier 5 (3pp). And if you have the time, harvest away <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />. I should have included in BoF in the lvl upgraded list. Ball of Fire - replaced by Ball of Flames lvl 37.BoTT - Replaced by Immolation at lvl 39.Icy Coil - Replaced by Piercing Icicles at lvl 40.So i suppose you could say, Ball of fire gets replaced first IF you're able to get your hands on a Ball of Flames adept 1+. I believe at 37-40, Ball of Fire adept3 will still be more efficient than an app3 Ball of Flames. I would've done tests myself, but I didn't think of it. Ball of Flames at adept 3 is simply awesome and will be at your lineup till the very end, so if possible, invest in that at all costs. I suppose it all depends on your money constraints and how long you plan on staying in the pre lvl 40 range. But if you have 2 jaspers that you want to use, i'll still have to recommend Ball of Fire and BoTT/Icy Coil. If you're 35+ and you get your hands on a Ball of Flames adept 1 or 3...then maybe go for the BoTT/Icy coil instead, but yeah, it's up to you <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.
