Breath of the Tyrant

At the moment i'm using My blaze upgrade and ice spike(adept 1) as my two nuking spells. The other night i dinged 21 and got breath of the tyrant. My question is this, is it worth it to upgrade breath of the tyrant even though ball of flame is only a level or two away? I'm guessing when i get BoF my two main nuke spells will be BoF and the upgraded blaze, so the breath of the tyrant upgrade was just a waste of money. Any thoughts?

<DIV>I find that the damage on BoT adept 1 vs Blaze adept 1 is regularly about 60 or so damage more (talking like 160 v 100~), of course BoF outstrips both these by large margins even at the apprentice3 stage, it has a retimer of 12seconds, so I find myself using BoF whenever i can, and while its recharging nuking with BoT/Blaze. I burn through mana, but thats not usually too much trouble in a competent group...</DIV>

<DIV>You will be usinng BoT well into your 30s. I am 34 and it hits for 200 to 240 damage regularly when I use it while I am waiting for BoF to recharge you do no have anything that will get close for a long while. Would be a good idea to upgrade it now. I have the adept 1 version btw. </DIV>

I'm 28, I still use it, with the sequence :[debuff if necessary]BOFireBOTTBLAZE (well, now it is prismatic pulse, blaze is grey)BOTT[cani]and repeat. All adept 1. ..But i did not upgrade BOF to adept3, I'm still with adept 1 that i payed 2.5 gold as soon as I got it.I found one rare, but I prefered selling it, and try to have more money to be able to buy an adept3 BOFlame when I'll be 37 (and if they fix the 37+ problem...)

Once I got Plasmatic Pulse, I stopped using Blaze, but BoT is one of my main nukes. Before I took out blaze, I alternated between blaze and bot until BoF repops. I never used Ice Spike because I never had it upgraded passed app3. But yeah, BoT is one of my key spells.

Im 25 at the mo and stopped using Blaze - taken it out of my hotbar.Cos I took the Blaze upgrade training spell (Frostfire someting, cant remember the name) and it does about 30-50% more damage than Blaze which is at Adept III and cons green to me.Main nuke is BoF, then alternate between BoTT/Train.spell and maintaining DoTs in between <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><p>Message Edited by Graffix_75 on <span class=date_text>01-17-2005</span> <span class=time_text>12:25 AM</span>

Thanks.<hr></blockquote>well.... i am currently level 24 and i chain Bof App II, Blaze App III, and Breath of the Tyrant App IV. and use the training hp > power spell... i think breath of the tyrant is very good and ne way if you are only using 2 nukes breath would be stronger then blaze.. very tired not making sense sorry Raiding all night <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
