Wizard AE worthless

<DIV>Well im glad AE is worthless and a tanks is better then ours. Also Ball of fire (adept 3 ) level 23 spell does 350-660 dmg. On the other hand level 37 nuke Ball of Flame ( adept 3 ) does 400-720dmg......Great so from level 23 to level 37 my dps has gone from what 70 to 74? wizard is a worthless class atm Shadowknights/Paladins / just about any melee can outdamage us. What is our use we have around 950-1000 AC with best gear at level 37 about 1500 hp or so we die in 2-3 hits max from group mobs.... yet we cant even outdamage a Tank....that is beyond Sad its stupid.</DIV>

<DIV>I agree %100 with everything you said.  Our AOE timers and cast times are rediculous.  In fact it is very hard to assist the main tank and use Pyre since the target is usually dead before the spell even casts!  Our single target DMG is a joke also.  Wizards and Warlocks should cause the most DMG of any class period.  We rely on power and basically have 0 defense. Why should a tank even remotely get close to our DPS?  I don't want to see other classes nerfed I want to see casters fixed.  If they need to adjust encounters because of this so be it.    Nerfing a class is bad enough but nerfing a class that already needed help in the higher levels is a double slap in the face.  Our utility is a joke, our dmg is low, and we are frail why should anyone group with a Wizard?</DIV>

<DIV>You Got adept 3's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wish they was on my server. My upgrades are sleeping in my spellbook until a crafter comes along which will mean they will probally 5 plat each cause noone else can make.</DIV>

<DIV>Lol i would rather not been able to buy that adept 3...wasted my money on it completely.....Ball of fire does about 20 dmg less on average but costs 20 power more....at that rate ball of fire should cost 400+ power :smileysad: ... i dont care that SoE nerfs us... i care about the fact that i Pay to play a game... I pay them to do their job.....So far they have done their job horribly as far as wizards go....I pay the same price all other classes do... i deserve the same respect.</DIV>
