View Full Version : How do I stop the armor quest 6 insanity?
Each and every time I zone in or out of Varsoon, I get killed or half killed by that stupid named skelly and his two scarecrows. I have already killed him before and yet he is always there waiting for me at varsoon. I still have to kill 7 more chanters and some centaurs for AQ6, so do I have to finish up this quest before the insanity will ever end?

<DIV>This is a bug hopefully that will be fixed soon. He will spawn each and every time from now till the bug is fixed when you walk over his spawn point. Which happens to be the entrance to Varsoons. I did find that if I could get to Varsoons if I came in from the side he spawns on. </DIV>

the spawns near bb that were for the wizard quest spawn still also.you cannot out run them and even escape wont clear aggro.

<DIV>I sent in a pettion on this and a GM replied telling me that this was a design in the game and was ment to do that and if I thought it should be changed to do a feedback on it. I doubt any other class has this issue. I doubt the monks or druids have that named griffon spawn every time they go over by the rocks or I doubt the clerics have the named giant spawn every time they go over there after they have completed there aq6. They really need to fix this and no way it should be a game design.</DIV>

As far as other classes having the same problem, they do. Ott and the griffen spawn every time also. The biggest difference is those are a little easier to avoid than Varsoons entrance.

<DIV>On Test Server it is fixed after the update, read the test server notes, it is indeed a bug - other classes have the same problem with their mobs (well I think all) but we wizzies suffer the most because this ($/% guy is near the Dungeon Entrance and will aggro. The other mobs who have the same behaviour (the giant named Ott) etc. are on places where you normally dont walk nearby.</DIV> <DIV>Btw this mob only spawns when you are at step 6 of your armor quest.</DIV>

<DIV>Not it spawns all the time after you finish aq6. If you do not do aq6 then no it will never spawn.</DIV>
