<DIV>hi all i just got an adept1 vivid seal and i was wondering since im close to getting dazzling seal at level 25 whether using the adept1 upgrade was even worth it?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Do vivid seal and dazzling seal work at the same time or can you only have one of those two running at once since they do the same thing?</DIV>

They do not stack. Same with Amplification and Gift of the Magi. Save yourself the conc. slots.

<DIV>Yeah - I assume vivid seal and dazzling seal will be the same as Augmentation and Gift of the Magi. Though you can have both buffs up at the same time, the effects don't accumulate.</DIV>

<DIV>In general the adept of your old spell will be better than the app1 or 2 of its replacement for several levels after you get the replacement spell.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My Amplification Adept 1 (lvl 24 spell) is still giving me more power than Intensify Apprentice 2 (lvl 32 spell).  I am currently a level 34 Wizard. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At this point in the game the level 30+ Wizards are running into the problem of very few Sages that can make App3 or better spells and difficulty finding Adept 1 drops, so they are having to use the previous version of the spell for longer than intended.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Mickle on <span class=date_text>12-14-2004</span> <span class=time_text>08:11 AM</span>

<DIV>Well, almost two months later and situation still hasn't changed.  I'm 33 and still using Amplification at adept1 since its stats are better then my Intensify @app4.  This is just plain wrong, not to mention my DPS sucks compared to other 30+ melees I group with.  I keep hearing about some wizzie changes coming, but nothing yet.  I live in hope.</DIV>

As stated, changes for wizards/warlocks are going to test sometime this week, and will be included in the patch next month. What these changes are we don't know. Certainly I hope they include fixes to spells that don't work right, and upper level spells having thier DPS scale in a reasonable manner to keep our DPS where it should be in compared to other classes.Since it's February 9th, you still have about 3-4 weeks before you see any of these changes coming to wizards.
