No, it was most definitely because they looked at gear for next expansion and realized that there was no level cap increase and saw how high people's mit was. Remove diminishing returns and put stuff...

Are you a Brawler? To me it sounds like you are a plate tank with gear that really isn't that great to begin with so don't have much of the stat to lose mit from. Rasttan is the best geared Brawler...

The change really makes the 1.5% mitigation increase on raid gear look terrible. There needs to be a middle ground here. Fix the mechanic? Okay. Buff that portion of the gear that was balanced around...
